YEar END CHaritable GIVING

With the end of one year and the start of another, we often pause to give thanks for our blessings and the people in our lives.  It is also a time when charitable giving often comes to mind.  Charitable giving can be enhanced using income tax deductions, and so it can be much more effective when it is included as part of year-end tax planning.  As a reminder all year-end gifts must be received at the church, online, or postmarked by December 31.

Click here for '7 Things Every Church Member Needs to Know' about charitable contributions written by Richard Hammer, J.D., LL.M., CPA.

To receive current year giving credit, mailed checks must be postmarked on or by December 31 and cleared in due course (for example, be received and cleared by January 7 of the following year).  Click here to give via our secure giving page.

Credit card and ACH gifts may be made online via our secure giving page, but must be posted on or before December 31 of the current year.  The posting date not the authorization/processing date determines the timing of credit card or ACH gifts.
