Kendra began working at LCC in 2011 as the Preschool Director. She served in that position part time for five years before transitioning to full time and a new position in 2016. During a season of transition for the church, the need for administrative oversight became necessary, and Kendra stepped into the role as the Administrative Officer. She currently works as the Serve Director, which incorporates the administrative and also oversight of the serving opportunities inside and outside the church. Kendra is passionate about making systems and processes better and more efficient, and it is her heart that those who serve the church feel championed and fulfilled in their service.
Kendra says her biggest cheerleaders are her husband, Gene, and two children, Abby and Christian, who she has had the privilege to homeschool.
Serving the Lord is Kendra's greatest joy. He has shown Himself to be completely trustworthy through all the highs and lows of life. She adds, "He has never left me or forsaken me, and I constantly lean on the promise that He works all things together for my good (Romans 8:28)."
