Priority 1 Announcement

A Priority 1 announcement is the main thing you want everyone to see, remember, or act on this week. It’s the most urgent or most strategic piece of information — the one that would make the biggest impact if people engaged with it.

Think of it as:

  • The announcement you’d share first from the stage

  • The thing you’d want in every email subject line

  • The headline of your week

Examples of a Priority 1:

  • A major church-wide event (e.g., Baptism Sunday, Easter service, Vision Night)

  • Registration opening for something high-impact (e.g., groups launch, VBS, men’s/women’s retreats)

  • An urgent call to action (e.g., serve signups, giving initiative, church-wide fast/prayer)

In your bulletin, this should get premium real estate — top of the announcements section, maybe with a graphic, bold heading, or even a short video or direct link to register. It’s not just a blurb — it’s the focus.

Let me know if you want a sample Priority 1 section written out for a specific event.

Priority 2 Announcement

A Priority 2 announcement is something important — but not the most important thing this week. It’s still timely, still worth attention, but it supports rather than leads.
Think of it as:
  • The “also” after your Priority 1
  • Something that’s coming up soon, but not this week
  • A chance to reinforce something people have already heard once
Examples of a Priority 2:
  • Upcoming events (e.g., a youth outing, women’s brunch, mission trip info meeting)
  • Registrations that are still open but not closing this week
  • Smaller ministry updates (e.g., MOPS schedule, Collide reminder, food drive collection)
  • Low-bar invites (e.g., “Come say hi at the Connect Table”)
In the bulletin, a Priority 2 should still have its own space, but it doesn’t need a spotlight or big graphic. Keep it short, clear, and action-driven — just enough to remind or nudge someone to engage.
Let me know if you want to build a flow that rotates content from Priority 2 up to Priority 1 as events get closer.

What’s Coming Up

This section pulls straight from our app calendar and always shows you the latest events automatically — no extra clicking, no outdated info. Anything tagged as a Special Event in our system will show up here as soon as it’s added, so you can stay in the loop without having to search. If it’s happening soon and it’s a big deal, you’ll find it right here.

Mission Focus

Get to know more about what makes us different.

This section highlights how Little Chapel is living out the Great Commission — both locally and globally. It’s where you show the real stories, impact, and invitations behind your missions efforts.
Each week or month, you can spotlight a different area of outreach — whether it’s a partner ministry, a recent trip, a local need being met, or a personal testimony from someone impacted by missions.
This section isn’t just about information — it’s about engagement. You're helping people see the heart of God for others and giving them a practical next step: to give, pray, go, or celebrate what God is doing through their generosity and obedience.
What It Can Include:
  • A video update from a missionary or partner ministry
  • A written story from someone who just returned from a trip
  • A photo + quote about a local outreach (like Heaven’s Kitchen or Villa Dolorosa)
  • A donation link with a simple call to action: “Give to Support This Work”
  • An audio interview or podcast-style moment from someone doing the work
  • Prayer points so the church can intercede for that mission in real time
